 Contribution to the Community:
By producing our garments locally, we bring employment and contribute to the economy of our country. Our Atelier also teach our local community our to sew garments thus contributing to fashion workforce.

 Employment Law|:
As an employer, we adhere with the right of workers to including the following:
All our workers are paid a wage they can live on in accordance with the National Minimum Wage and Living Wage in the UK and also incentivized with bonus schemes.
 We ensure our workers work reasonable hours and work in conditions that adhere to the rule of law. For example, we do not force our workers to take any overtime work unless agree by the workers. 
We provide our workers with reasonable break time between works as required by law.
We offer our workers various employment contracts including, zero hours, temporarily, permanent, and freelance contract according to their needs.
Our workers can only work average of 48 hours per week as require by law (although they can choose to work more and opt-out of this) 
Equality and Diversity:
We protect our workers against unlawful discrimination, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, and unfair treatment. Thus, we do not discriminate individual because of their age, gender, being married or in a civil partnership, being pregnant or maternity leave, disability, race including colour, nationality, ethnicity or national origin, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation. 
All our workers are legally entitled to their statutory leave entitlement, that is 5.6 Weeks’s paid holiday a year. 
Health and Safety
We recognised that we will not exist without our workers, therefore, the well-being of workers is our paramount consideration. As a result, we upheld the rule of law by implementing Health and Safety at Work and promoting human rights law and any framework implemented locally or internationally, including the “United Nation Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights” in fashion industry.
Therefore, we have various employment policies and procedures in place including health and safety, recruitment, discrimination, Modern Slavery, COSHH and many more that dictated the way we work.
Modern Slavery, Human Trafficking and Child Labour
We train our workers and boost their knowledge to identify and spot someone who is been forced to work and have their confident to report their concerns.
We do not use children or forced labour.
 We do not restrict our worker’s freedom as they are free from forming unions.
GIVING BACK:
AT SENSUALBAE, WE RAISE AWARENESS OF SYSTEMATIC SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO, WHICH HAS BEEN LABELLED AS THE “RAPE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD”, WHERE COUNTLESS WOMEN AND CHILDREN ARE BRUTALLY SEXUALLY ASSAULTED DUE TO “ THE CONGO WARS” THAT HAS BEEN PLAGUED UNTOLD GENOCIDE, ALL FORM OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE INCLUDING RAPE GENOCIDE AND ATROCITIES. THE PREVALENCE AND INTENSITY OF WHICH HAS BEEN DESCRIBED AS “THE WORST IN THE WORLD”.
Panzi Foundation, is a charity we have decided to promote, which was founded by one pioneering Congolese gynaecologist and surgeon, who has gained many international accolades and domestic heroism for his work with victims of rape in the Congo. Dr. Denis Mukwege founded the Panzi foundation and the Panzi hospital in Bukavu, near the DRC-Rwanda border in 1999. The hospital specialises in obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, surgery, and internal medicine. It has treated over 40,000 victims of sexual violence, and restored women and children genital organs that had been destroyed due to rape.
For his amazing work among the victims of war and insecurity, Dr. Mukwege was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, and has received the UN Human Rights Prize (2008), the Olof Palme Prize (2009), and the King Baudouin International Development Prize (2011). In 2009, In 2009, the Nigerian newspaper Daily Trust named him “African of the Year.” He received the 2013 Human Rights First Award. And on 15 October, 2013, he received the Civil Courage Prize from the Train Foundation.
